The Arena Project
The Arena Project was started at the beginning of the 2024-25 Minor Hockey Season to showcase the many unique ice rinks throughout our fine planet. I have started with some of the rinks that I have had the pleasure of watching my kids play in. I will add more as we go but I need YOU to help get this project off the ground. I want to see locations on the map, photos, and a description of each one. Share some history of the arena, its quirks, or a personal story. Lets celebrate the great sport of hockey! As a fundraiser for Penticton U13 Recreation 2 Minor Hockey Team, we are selling raffle tickets for a Vancouver Canucks game. Section 112, Row 8, Seats 3-6. Prize also includes a one night stay at the Sandman Downtown Vancouver. Tickets are $10 each. Actual game will be determined later, the winner will have a few options to pick from. It was supposed to be December 6 against Columbus Blue Jackets but that is not the case, as there is a Taylor Swift concert the same night (Hotels were too expensive).
